Thinking about staff

The true test of one’s staff comes not in the successful solution, but what happens after failure. If apathy sets in, the staff lacks a connection with the project, clients, or goals. If chaos ripples through the group with everyone in a manic frenzy to solve the problem, the staff wants to do their best, but lacks direction and will quickly burn out. Balancing these two extremes can be at times difficult, especially when dealing with young teams of individuals who interact with “corporate veterans.”
