On July 18, 2016, I found this piece entitled “OM-1 Cassette Tape Synthesizer Is A Gloriously Unique Analog Musical Instrument” an interesting read. Here’s an excerpt:

Using a classic cassette player as the sound source and “engine” for a synth is very intriguing. I think I want one…
